Liz Goad

Grant Writer

Liz Goad is a Baton Rouge native with more than a decade of experience in nonprofit fundraising, advocacy and administration. Prior to joining the team at CPEX, she served as Director of Grants and Community Development at Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, where she directed the regranting of state and local funds to support creative community engagement across 9 parishes in southeast Louisiana. Through her work in the creative sector, she cultivated interdisciplinary partnerships to enhance the role of the arts in education, healthcare, and economic development.

In her position as Grant Writer, Liz advances CPEX’s mission through fund development and management, ensuring responsible stewardship of CPEX’s grant resources. Liz graduated from University of Denver with a Master of Arts in Art History and Museum Studies. She is a graduate of the Baton Rouge Area Leadership Program (2016), and has been featured as a presenter at the Louisiana State Arts Summit and PechaKucha Night Baton Rouge.
